Kim Nolf
Kim Nolf is the founder of QustomDot, a company she started in January 2020 and which is based in Gent.
Nolf studied at Ghent University, taking a bachelor's degree in chemistry between 2007 and 2010 and a master's degree in the same subject between 2010 and 2012. She completed her master's thesis at Ghent University in 2011 and 2012, having spent July 2011 as an intern at Milliken Chemical. She then returned to Ghent University as a PhD student from September 2012 to October 2016, a period that included a visiting PhD placement at Berkeley Lab in the summer of 2014. From October 2016 to January 2017 she travelled in Asia.
In February 2017 Nolf took up a postdoctoral research position at Universiteit Gent, which she held until January 2020. Between October 2018 and January 2020 she was a Bryo member of Voka-Vlaams netwerk van ondernemingen.
