Klaas Arnout
Klaas Arnout is the CEO of basalte, based in Gent. He founded the company in April 2008 and has since served as its chief executive and head of design.
He studied electrical and electronics engineering at Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Gent, graduating with a Master of Engineering in 1995. He later returned to study at Vlerick Business School, completing an Executive Master Class in B2B Marketing and Sales with electives in product management and digital strategy in 2017, followed by an Executive Master Class in Corporate Finance in 2018 and 2019, with electives in venture capital and private equity and in creating value through M&A.
