Koen Geirnaert
Koen Geirnaert is a co-owner and founder of dotOcean, which he started in October 2010. He is based in Gent.
Before that he spent twelve years at ON Semiconductor, where he joined in September 1998 as an ASIC design project leader, a role he held until March 2006. He then worked as a senior marketing engineer from April 2006 to September 2007, and as a product marketing manager from 2007 until October 2010, when he left to found dotOcean.
Geirnaert studied at Ghent University from 1991 to 1997, graduating with a Master of Science, and took an MBA at Flanders Business School between 2003 and 2005.
