Koen Ovaere
Koen Ovaere is the chief executive of Trendskout and is based in Ghent. He joined Trendskout in January 2020 as an AI evangelist. His stated areas of expertise are AI, no-code and SaaS.
From March 2013 to November 2020 he was part of the founding team of Storesquare, and between May 2009 and November 2014 he was part of the founding team of Smart Sunday. Earlier, from September 2006 to May 2009, he was a PhD student at Ghent University.
Ovaere studied computer science at KU Leuven, completing a master's degree in 2005, and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Vlerick Business School in 2014.
