
Koen Van De Putte is the CEO of Olympus Mobility, a position he has held since September 2015. He is based in Brussels.
His career has been closely tied to NMBS-SNCB, which he joined in June 1995 for work in ICT management and business development until June 2006, returning in November 2008 as Director Corporate & Change Office until April 2014 and then working in Marketing & Sales Rail from May 2014 to June 2015. Between those periods at the railway operator he was programme director for public transport ticketing at Syntigo from July 2006 to November 2008. He chaired the board of Blue-mobility from December 2010 to April 2014 and the board of cambio Vlaanderen from August 2013 to May 2016. Earlier, from January 1994 to June 1995, he was an IT and telecom manager in the Belgian Army.
He studied civil electrotechnical engineering and physics at Ghent University from 1986 to 1991, followed by an MBA in industrial management at KU Leuven, and took a programme in innovation and entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School in 2009 and 2010.
