Koenraad Belsack

Koenraad Belsack and Nele Van Damme co-founded Upgrade Estate, starting with a single house converted into student rooms using proceeds from a food truck business. The company grew into a major player in Belgian student and young-professional housing, managing more than 2,200 rooms across Ghent, Kortrijk, Bruges, Mons, Antwerp, and Brussels under brands including Upkot, Upliving, and Upoffiz.

The company's portfolio surpassed EUR 100M in assets. Both founders joined Nexxworks as Business Partners, with Belsack taking the role of chairman of the board while remaining active in the Ghent entrepreneurial ecosystem.

He is also an independent board member at Officenter and has been a speaker on Entrepreneurship and real estate innovation.
