Koenraad Nys

Koenraad Nys is managing director and partner at d-studio, a role he has held since July 2003. Since 1990 he has also run an independent IT consultancy for the construction industry under his own name.

Between 2001 and 2005 he worked as an IT/CAD consultant at Eurostation - Euro Immo Star. From 1999 to 2007 he taught ICT/CAAD at the Design Studio of the Hogeschool voor Wetenschap en Kunst and was a docent at the Faculty of Architecture of KU Leuven over the same period. He was an independent consultant on the AVOCAAD EU project from 1995 to 2001 and worked in consultancy at SISMO from 1992 to 1993. From March 1989 to November 1999 he was product manager and international support at STAR Informatic (Star - Apic), having previously been information manager for CAD tools at ING Belgium from 1987 to 1989.

Nys studied architecture and construction at KU Leuven from 1979 to 1984 and completed a master's in computer science at the University of Antwerp in 1986.
