Kris Aerts

Kris Aerts is based in Leuven, where he works at Kunlabora as agile project manager, customer proxy and product owner on the ReIncluGen Horizon 2020 project, a role he took up in January 2023. He joined Kunlabora in March 2018 as an outreacher and has since served as agile project manager, customer proxy or product owner on assignments for Ensur, ESF, Staf & Begeleid Wonen Tienen, Zorg Leuven, Digipolis, Cobot, UCLL and Digitaal Vlaanderen, as well as on a project for Buurtwerk 't Lampeke, Stad Leuven and Kunlabora running since May 2018.

Before that he spent 2017 at Switchfully as an intrapreneur at Cegeka, having worked at Cegeka itself from October 2012 as customer proxy, scrum master, agile coach and agile project manager on assignments for Argenta, Ipsum Energy, Leaseplan Belgium, Cegeka Health Products, BORGinsole and VDAB.

Aerts began his career at KU Leuven, where he was a PhD and research fellow from 2003 to 2008 and then innovation manager until September 2012. He holds a PhD in economics and business from KU Leuven and a master's degree in commercial engineering from the University of Antwerp.
