Kris Beerts

Kris Beerts is a product owner at IDtech - Access Control & Time Management, a role he took up in January 2026, and is based in Brussels. Since the same month he has also served as chief technology officer of AXXESSION.

Before that he spent more than a decade with SERIS, joining as R&D division manager in February 2012 and holding that position until December 2025, while also serving as chief technology officer of SERIS Technology from June 2016 until the same date. From January 2002 to February 2012 he was managing director of ASDK bvba, and between August 1993 and December 2001 he was R&D manager at Quadrox. He began his career as a software engineer at Materialise from July 1992 to July 1993.

Beerts studied electronics at Hasselt University, where he completed a Master of Engineering in 1992.
