
Kris Ryck
Kris Ryck is the CEO of Isabel, based in Brussels. He joined the company in June 2023 as VP Banking Solutions and took up the chief executive role in August of that year.
Before that, Ryck was CEO of Batopin from 2020 to 2023, CEO of itsme from 2017 to 2020, and CEO of Bancontact Company from 2011 to 2016. He spent twelve years at KBC Bank & Verzekering, joining in 1999 as a process and product manager and going on to hold roles as facility manager, management consultant for payments, integration manager for CEE and head of innovation payments. Earlier in his career he was a project manager at Smits Engineering and a project engineer at Dynamic Engineering.
Ryck studied civil engineering at KU Leuven, completing a master's degree in 1990, and followed this with a bachelor's in applied economics at the same university.
