Kristiaan Vanhercke
Kristiaan Vanhercke is the founder and managing director of mindcapture, based in Gent. He founded MindCapture in January 2012 and led it as CEO until June 2026, since when he has served there as strategic advisor and operational lead. In June 2026 he also became managing director of MainShift innovation.
He founded Vision4Care, which he led as CEO from 2013 to June 2026. He co-founded StaffYourTribe and was its CEO from September 2018 to December 2024, and co-founded SmartWithFood, serving as CEO from October 2015 to January 2017. From January 2012 to February 2016 he was COO of Biogazelle.
Vanhercke joined Roche Diagnostics Belgium in January 2000 as marketing manager and member of the Roche global marketing team, and went on to hold roles there including operations manager Gulf, business unit manager for Applied Science, Tissue and Molecular Diagnostics, member of the EMEA management team for Roche Molecular Diagnostics and Roche Applied Science, and sales director, until December 2011. From June 1991 to December 1999 he worked at Boehringer Mannheim in scientific cooperation and account management.
He holds a master's degree in biotechnology from the University of Leuven, campus De Nayer, and has since studied at Ghent University, Vlerick Business School, the Free University Brussels and London Business School.
