
Kurt Claeys
Kurt Claeys is the founder of AZUG and is based in Gent. He founded AZUG in June 2009 and held that role until August 2010. Since September 2013 he has worked as a freelance cloud and mobile solution architect at Nuboid.com.
Between 1995 and 2000 he was a researcher in Microsoft technologies at ADIFO, and from 1999 to August 2010 he worked as a freelance MCT trainer. He was a senior developer at ASP Software from May 2001 to February 2004, then lead developer at ERA Belgium until August 2005. At Ordina Belgium, from August 2005 to August 2010, he was Microsoft architect, competence leader for .NET cloud services, lead architect and trainer in .NET 3.5. He was technical architect at Electrabel (Suez) from 2007 to September 2008 and .NET architect at Delta Lloyd Bank from 2007 to August 2010. In 2009 he was a .NET coach and trainer at RIZIV-INAMI and a technical learning guide at Microsoft TechEd US 09. From September 2010 to August 2013 he was a platform strategy advisor for Windows Azure at Microsoft.
He studied at HOGENT from 1990 to 1993.
