Lais Kriwat

Lais Kriwat is the CEO of spentys and is based in Kiel. He is also a managing partner of Kriwat GmbH, a position he took up in January 2026, and has worked there as a master orthopaedic shoe technician since June 2021. He joined Kriwat GmbH as an apprentice in September 2016 and went on to hold a succession of roles at the company: head of development from July 2019 to March 2024, authorised signatory from August 2021 to March 2024, and managing director from March 2024 until January 2026. From July 2013 to May 2024 he worked for Holstein Kiel, operating the LED wall and acting as press officer.

Kriwat trained as an orthopaedic shoemaker at the Berufsschule der Handwerkskammer Lübeck between 2016 and 2019, and qualified as an Orthopädieschuhmachermeister at the Bundesfachschule für Orthopädie-Schuhtechnik in 2021. He attended Gymnasium Elmschenhagen from 2008 to 2016.
