Laura Morchi
Laura Morchi is chief technology officer of Soundsafe Care, a role she has held since June 2023. She co-founded the company in May 2022.
Before that, she was a visiting research scientist at TECNALIA Research & Innovation from September to December 2021, and earlier completed a research internship at The BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in the spring of 2017.
Morchi took a PhD in Biorobotics at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna between 2018 and 2022. She holds a master's degree in Bionics Engineering, awarded jointly by the Università di Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Università di Pisa. She studied at the Liceo Classico "Pellegrino Rossi" in Massa until 2012, and obtained the ISIPM-Base certification from the Istituto Italiano di Project Management in March 2022. She is based in Pisa.
