Laurent Cocker

Laurent Cocker is the COO of docbyte, a role he took up in January 2026, and is based in Gent. He joined Docbyte in September 2019 as a business analyst and went on to work as a project manager from 2021 and as customer success lead from October 2024.

Before joining Docbyte, he worked at Intrum Belgium, first as a portfolio analyst from July 2016 and then as a business and process analyst from August 2018 until September 2019. Earlier he was a credit analyst at Record Bank in 2015 and 2016, a credit officer at Triple A Solutions from October 2014 to September 2015, and a PR intern at FINN Public Relations in 2014. During his studies he worked as a waiter at Domein Begonia.

Cocker studied at Ghent University, where he completed a bachelor's degree in linguistics and literature, Latin and Greek, a Master of Arts in historical linguistics and literature, and an advanced master's in multilingual business communication in 2014.
