Laurent Guérindon

Laurent Guérindon is the chief executive officer of GALACTIC, a role he took up in April 2025. He is based in Belgium.

Before joining GALACTIC, he spent from May 2022 to February 2025 at AB Mauri, a global business of Associated British Foods plc, as CEMEA BI Director and General Manager MEA. From October 2018 to April 2022 he was managing director of the ingredients division at Soufflet Group. He joined Mühlenchemie in April 2010 as area sales manager for Africa and the Middle East, became area sales director for Africa, the Middle East and France in April 2013, and from August 2016 to September 2018 was regional director EMEA and general manager of Stern Ingredients Turkey.

His career began at National Starch Food Innovation, where from November 2002 he worked as a process engineer in Hamburg, then as marketing coordinator, EMEA product manager for CWS and, from March 2009 to March 2010, EMEA bakery segment manager.

He studied chemical and process engineering at ENSIC and holds an MBA from the University of the West of England.
