
Laurent Sorber
Laurent Sorber is a co-founder of InvestSuite, where he has served as technology advisor since February 2025, having been co-founder and chief technology officer from March 2018 until that point. He is based in Tremelo. He is also co-founder and chief technology officer of Superlinear, a role he has held since January 2018, and has been managing director of TensorTech since May 2016.
Before that he was a data scientist at KBC Bank & Verzekering from September 2014 to May 2016, overlapping with a position as free research associate at KU Leuven from September 2014 to December 2015. Between 2005 and 2008 he worked as a software engineer at the Flemish League of Company Sports.
Sorber studied at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science in 2008, a master's degree in mathematical engineering in 2010 and a Ph.D. in engineering sciences in 2014. He attended secondary school at the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Lourdescollege in Edegem-Mortsel.
