Leslie Vlerick

Leslie Vlerick is the CEO of Helpper, a role she has held since April 2022 and which is based in Belgium.

Before joining Helpper, she worked at Nuance Communications from October 2019 to November 2021, first as a product owner and then as principal product manager. Earlier in 2019 she was a product manager at AGFA HealthCare. She spent several years at HealthConnect, where she was a product owner from 2012 to 2014, product manager for CareConnect from 2013 to 2016, and a senior consultant from 2017 to 2019. Her career began at Ghent University, where she was a research assistant from January 2008 to December 2011.

Vlerick studied biomedical sciences at Ghent University, completing a master's degree in 2007. She later took the MBA Highlights programme at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management between November 2022 and April 2023, and a masterclass in business strategy and leadership at Antwerp Management School between November 2024 and February 2025.
