Lieve Mets

Lieve Mets is co-owner of BIG BEAR Studio, a role she took up in July 2025. She is based in Antwerp.

Before that she spent more than a decade at Attentia, where she was director of risk management from August 2014 and general director of prevention and protection from January 2022 until July 2025. She began her career at Arista in October 2002 as a prevention adviser level I, and went on to hold the roles of technical coordinator for risk management from 2007, business unit manager for technical risk management from January 2011, and interim director of risk management from April 2012 to July 2014.

Mets studied industrial engineering in electronics and information and communication techniques at LUCA School of Arts, completing a master's degree in 2001, and then took the G.A.S. in safety techniques (prevention adviser level I) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She followed an executive development programme at Vlerick Business School between 2013 and 2014.
