
Lode Debrabandere is the co-founder and chief executive of Amynas, Inc, a position he has held since 2019, and is based in Charleston. Since 2022 he has also been a co-founder of AxoCell, Inc.
Before founding Amynas, he was president and chief executive of Aziyo Biologics, Inc. from 2016 to 2018. From 2006 to 2015 he was at Osiris Therapeutics, where he served as president and chief executive and as chief operating officer. Between 2002 and 2006 he was vice president of global marketing and brand leader for Abilify at Bristol Myers Squibb, and from 1992 to 2001 he worked at UCB as director of marketing and as director of global clinical operations.
He studied at KU Leuven from 1982 to 1992, taking a Pharm.D, a PhD and an MBA.
