Maarten Bamelis
Maarten Bamelis is the CTO of PointCaré, a role he took up in May 2026. He is based in Brussels.
Before joining PointCaré, he worked at Robovision, first as a senior AI system developer from August 2024 to September 2025 and then as a project manager until April 2026. From August 2021 to July 2024 he was a software engineer at XEOS. He began his career at OMP, where he was a software engineer from May 2016 and a senior software engineer from July 2019 until May 2021.
He studied at Ghent University, completing a Master of Science in Industriële Wetenschappen: Informatica between 2011 and 2016.
