Maarten Block

Maarten Block is co-owner and special operations manager at investorclub, based in Oostkamp. He joined the company in August 2022 as an advisor and trainer, became co-owner and operations manager in December 2023, and took up his current role in January 2025. He has also been a digital challenger at ODUM since January 2024, and he has owned and run Livalos since March 2021, having served as its CTO from October 2018.

He founded apolloweb.be in 2002 and worked as a business intelligence engineer at RealDolmen from 2005 to 2008, followed by shorter spells at IBS, Media Screen Systems and Coworks. He founded Websites voor KMO in 2010 and led EntityOne as CEO from 2012 to 2022, then advised the company for a year. He co-founded SaaS Minded in 2017 and worked with the incubator ID2R from 2014, both until 2024. He taught Drupal at CVO KISP Mariakerke, trained through maartendeblock.be and Productief.eu, invested through BAN Vlaanderen, and sat on the external advisory boards of GameChangers and Anna Pops.

He studied information technology at Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen.
