Maarten Verhavert
Maarten Verhavert is a co-founder of MentalWell, a role he has held since January 2023. He is based in Leuven.
Since July 2008 he has been CEO and owner of HYPE, and in December 2022 he became a shareholder in Vitamins. Between July 2023 and May 2024 he was a member of Better Growth.
Earlier in his career he was a junior webmaster at De Persgroep Publishing from October 2007 to May 2008, and a junior technical support engineer at Acerta in the first half of 2006.
Verhavert studied ICT at Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2006, and followed this with a postgraduate qualification in business administration and management at the same institution in 2007. He then obtained a certificate in web and multimedia management and webmastering at KU Leuven in 2008. He also attended SALCO.
