Malick Sarr
Malick Sarr is a data scientist based in Rome. In December 2025 he founded Avantages, where he works as a data scientist. Since November 2019 he has also worked as a data scientist under his own name at malicksarr.com.
Earlier he was a data analyst at RunRepeat from September 2019 to April 2021, a data scientist at Spark Works during the first half of 2019 and a data scientist at Crisma in mid-2018. Between January 2016 and September 2017 he ran Calaoo.com, which he founded, and in 2011 he spent several months as an IT analyst at Catalyst Business Solutionss.
Sarr completed a Master of Science in data science at Sapienza Università di Roma between 2017 and 2019. He studied at the American University in Bulgaria from 2012 to 2015, taking bachelor's degrees in computer science and in information technology alongside an associate's degree in mass communication and media studies. He took A-Levels in computer science at the African Leadership Academy from 2009 to 2011, and previously attended Collège Sacré Coeur.
