Manu Jans
Manu Jans is the founder and chief executive of GreenPulse, a company he has led since January 2008. He is based in Ghent.
Between August 2013 and May 2016 he was co-founder and chief financial officer of Seaters. Earlier, from July 2003 to September 2009, he was chief executive of UTP Sri Lanka, part of J Cortes Cigars. He began his career in financial roles, working as a financial analyst at Solideal from 1998 to 2001, at McKinsey & Company from 2001 to 2002, and then as a financial and marketing analyst at Guidant from 2002 to 2003.
Jans studied applied economic sciences at Ghent University, graduating with a master's degree in 1998, and followed the Corporate Finance Evening Programme at London Business School from 1999 to 2000. He completed an Executive Master in Corporate Finance at Vlerick Business School between 2009 and 2010. He also holds a bachelor's degree as a chef-cook from Spermalie, and attended Sint-Barbara.
