Marc Czarka
Marc Czarka is CEO and owner of CLEVAIR, a role he took up in April 2025, and is based in Brussels. Since January 2024 he has also been CEO and owner of EuroPharMedTech (EPMT) srl.
Between July 2018 and January 2024 he was general manager of Vivactis HM3A. He was managing partner of HM3A from October 2008 to June 2018, and over an overlapping period, from January 2010 to June 2018, managing director of TherAxess. Earlier he directed the Lifesciences Division at Green Dragon from October 2005, was director of public affairs at BMS from July 2004 to September 2005, and medical director at sanofi-synthelabo from January 2001 to June 2004. He spent 2000 as a partner at VMC SA, and from October 1985 to February 2000 was medical director at Eli Lilly and co. He began his career as a family practitioner between 1982 and 1985.
He studied medicine at the Université libre de Bruxelles, graduating as a medical doctor in 1982, obtained the FBCPM in pharmaceutical medicine from the Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine-BCPM in 2002, and completed the IEP programme in business administration and management at INSEAD in 2003.
