Marc Debliquy is a co-founder of B-SENS - Creative Sensing Solutions, which he started in June 2016 and which is based in Charleroi. Alongside that, he has been a research fellow and head of the sensors unit at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons - UMONS since May 2012, and a part-time lecturer at the Université de Mons since October 2013.
He began at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons - UMONS as a researcher in August 1994, then held a doctoral research assistantship there from January 1995 to December 1999. He was technical director at Sochinor from January 2000 to September 2003, and a research fellow at Materia Nova from October 2003 to October 2008, before returning to the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons - UMONS as an assistant until April 2012.
He studied at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, taking an engineering degree in chemical engineering between 1989 and 1994, and holds a doctorate in engineering in materials science from the same institution.
