Marco Alvera

Marco was appointed Group CEO of TES in June 2022, also becoming an investor in the company. He brought 20 years of leadership in energy companies, most recently as CEO of SNAM, a world-leading energy infrastructure and hydrogen company, for six years. TES produces and transports so-called electric natural gas (e-NG), using renewable electricity to produce hydrogen and then combining it with captured CO2 for transport and storage via existing global gas infrastructure.

He studied philosophy and then followed a career in private equity before entering the energy sector. He is a World Economic Forum participant and a recognized voice in the European energy transition debate.
