Marem Aoucheva
Marem Aoucheva is the founder of Crypto Tax & Compliance, which she started in March 2024 and runs from Brussels. Since January 2020 she has also sat on the governing board of the ELSA Belgium Alumni Network.
Between February 2022 and April 2024 she was a cofounder of Coinpliance. She worked as a compliance officer at IbanFirst from August 2021 to February 2023, and before that as an associate at a compliance consultancy firm from June 2020. She practised as a lawyer at LEXLITIS from December 2019 to March 2020, and was a global trade consultant at EY from September 2018 to October 2019. Earlier, from September 2016 to August 2017, she led the STEP team at ELSA Belgium.
She holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in economic law from the Université libre de Bruxelles, the latter completed in 2018. During her studies she spent an Erasmus exchange in economic law at Università Bocconi in 2017 and attended a summer school on European private law at the Universität Salzburg in 2016.
