Mario Mees

Mario Mees is based in Heusden and has been Managing Director for Modernization Solutions at Astadia, an AMDOCS Company, since March 2021, with anubex recorded as his current employer. He joined Anubex in February 2012 as an external member of the board of directors, then served as Director of Sales and Marketing from May 2012 until March 2021.

Before that he spent nine years at Microsoft, where he was Director of Services for Belgium and Luxembourg from 2002, Senior Director of EMEA Premier Business from 2006, and General Manager of Services for Central and Eastern Europe from 2008 to 2011. Earlier roles include Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Customer Dialogue Systems, Senior Vice President at Computer Associates, Inc, Country Manager Germany and Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Sterling Software, and a series of sales and management positions at Texas Instruments covering Belgium, the Benelux and Switzerland. He began his career as a research assistant at KU Leuven, followed by a methodologist role at ACC and consulting and account management posts at James Martin Associates, and served as a reserve officer in the Belgian Air Force.

Mees holds master's degrees in business administration and in applied economics and business informatics from KU Leuven, and a bachelor's degree in applied economics from Hasselt University.
