Mark Veugelers
Mark Veugelers is the founder of enigma-life-sciences and is based in Brussels. Since November 2015 he has also been the founder and owner of Enigma Brewery.
He spent over a decade at VIB, joining in August 2004 as Integration Manager, a role he held until February 2014, and serving as Senior Science Policy Manager from March 2014 to August 2017.
Veugelers completed a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences at KU Leuven between 1996 and 2000, followed by a postdoc in cancer genetics at Cornell University from 2000 to 2004. He obtained an MBA from Vlerick Business School between 2006 and 2008.
