Martijn Bauters
Martijn Bauters is the founder of Agoya, which he started in October 2022, and is based in Oudenaarde. Since September 2025 he has also been Chief Data Officer at NEO - National Employment Office.
From July 2022 to November 2024 he was Executive Director and Head of Data & Digital at Cerba Research. He joined Easyfairs in May 2018 as Head of Data Intelligence, a role he held until October 2022, and continued with the company as Data Intelligence Advisor from September 2022 to October 2023. Before that, he worked as a data scientist at Accenture from August 2015 to May 2018.
Bauters studied at Ghent University, where he completed a Master of Statistical Data Analysis between 2014 and 2017 and a Master in Business Engineering: Marketing Engineering between 2008 and 2015. He obtained his secondary school diploma in sciences and mathematics at Sint Bernardus College in 2008.
