Matthew Spencer

Matthew Spencer is the founder of flockscore, based in Kortrijk. He co-founded FlockScore in February 2025 and serves as its CEO, a role he combines with that of Procurement PMO Manager at Bekaert, which he took up in January 2025. He states expertise in supplier performance, strategic procurement, supply chain risk and supplier relationship management.

Spencer joined Bekaert in June 2021 as Global Manager Supplier Relations, Risk and Compliance, and from May 2022 to December 2024 was Procurement CoE Supplier Management & Sustainability Manager. Before that he spent nearly three years at Volvo Group, entering through the Operations Graduate Program in August 2018, then working as a Process Quality Engineer and, from September 2020, as acting group leader for quality control, stocktaking and process audit.

Earlier roles included a student tutor position at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, an internship in logistics and operations management at Transfreight Automotive Logistics Europe Limited, sales development at Codility, English language teaching at GB English, a project management traineeship at Kontekst HR, and student management of the community events team at The British School of Brussels.

He holds an MSc in International Business: Supply Chain Management from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and a bachelor's degree in Management from Kozminski University, having studied economics and business at The British School of Brussels.
