Matthias Coessens

Matthias Coessens is Managing Director EMEA at ElysianNxt, a company he co-founded, and is based in Brussels. He has held that role since May 2020, having joined the company in March 2017 as Product Director and co-founder.

Before ElysianNxt, Coessens worked at Wolters Kluwer - Financial Services Solutions, where he was VP Market Management for Finance & Performance from January 2013 to July 2016 and then VP Market Management for Finance and Risk until December 2016. He spent the second half of 2012 as a financial analyst at KBC Bank & Verzekering. Earlier, he was a project manager and presales at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services' FinArch from 2009 to 2012, and began his career at Financial Architects, NV, joining in September 2006 as a functional analyst and later working as a functional consultant until April 2009.

He studied at Europese Hogeschool Brussel, qualifying as a commercial engineer, and completed a master's in business engineering and technology management at Europese Hogeschool St. Aloysius (EHSAL) between 2000 and 2006.
