Mattias Bonte

Mattias Bonte is a co-founder of wintro, based in Brugge. He co-founded the company in October 2023 and serves as its chief technology officer.

Before that he worked as a full stack developer at Bothive from August 2021 to October 2023, and at Guideline Belgium from January to August 2021. He began in web development as a junior full stack web developer at BeCode.org between May 2020 and January 2021, after training as a full stack web developer at BeCode in 2020.

Earlier, Bonte worked in foreign currency exchange at TradingView from August 2019 to May 2020, as a high ticket closer at High-Ticket Closing Agency from November 2017 to August 2019, and as a movement and nutrition coach at SG Coaching from June 2015 to November 2017. He gained a High Ticket Closer certification in international business from Dan Lok University in 2018.

He started his career in wind energy as a service technician at REpower Systems SE from April 2012 to May 2013, then joined MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, where he was an offshore turbine technician, a commissioning supervisor and an operation and maintenance supervisor between May 2013 and March 2015. He holds a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende, completed in 2011.
