Maxim Piessen
Maxim Piessen is the co-founder and CTO of Credix, a role he has held since November 2021. He is based in Antwerp.
He joined IntellectEU in October 2019 as an AI research consultant, and from February 2020 to October 2021 led AI and data work there while serving as product manager for VELMA. Between September 2020 and September 2021 he also taught at Le Wagon, as a data science teacher and as a corporate trainer. He founded Photrea, which he ran from November 2017 to December 2018, and before that was a junior account at Production Office BVBA. At SINC vzw he was PR manager from May 2015 and then PR director until April 2017. From 2011 to 2019 he lectured and wrote on macro photography under the name Maxim Piessen Photography.
He completed an advanced master in artificial intelligence and big data analytics at KU Leuven in 2019 and a full stack web development course at Le Wagon in 2017. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from the University of Antwerp, and spent a semester of master's study in physics at Stellenbosch University.
