
Maxime Van Der Meerschen is a co-founder of GiveActions, which he started in June 2018 and which is based in Brussels. Between November 2018 and February 2021 he was incubated at Start.LAB with GiveActions, and from October 2018 to June 2019 he was a member of Nexense Solvay.
Earlier in 2018 he worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev in category management, first as an intern from January to June and then on an interim basis from July to September. His earlier roles include a student job as a receptionist at Memnon Archiving Services in August 2016, where he had also spent a period as an observer in February 2013, organising student events and working as a barman and cook for Cercle des Sciences A.S.B.L. from October 2015 to June 2016, a cashier position at Delhaize Belgium in 2015, and participation as an entrepreneur with Les Jeunes Entreprises ASBL between October 2012 and April 2013.
He studied at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, taking a bachelor in business engineering and then the QTEM Master in Business Engineering, alongside bachelor's and master's studies in business administration and management at the Université libre de Bruxelles. He also completed a master's degree in economics at the University of Exeter and studied business engineering and economics at Waseda University, and holds an MBA through QTEM. He attended the Athénée Royal d'Auderghem.
He states expertise in marketing strategy, digital marketing, advertising, project management and online advertising.
