Maximiliaan Devloo

Maximiliaan Devloo is the founder and chief executive of CarMatch, which he started in January 2021. He is based in Belgium and has also been chief executive of MDware since January 2016.

Devloo spent several years at Lightspeed Commerce. He joined as a partner in June 2015 and then held a succession of roles there: sales engineer for the Benelux, channel sales executive for Belgium, manager of partnerships for BeLux, France and Switzerland, and senior manager of partnerships for EMEA until December 2022. He returned from January 2023 to May 2024 as a management consultant in strategy and operations. From August 2021 to April 2024 he was an external CIO at ODUM, whose external CIO masterclass he completed in 2022.

Earlier, he founded TextTheButler in February 2015 and worked as a sales representative at Knaek Promotions B.V., a web developer at BPolitix, a lifeguard with IKWV, and assistant store manager and IT manager at Deli Torhout.

Devloo studied informatica at HOGENT, having previously studied industrial sciences at Ghent University and spent time at the University of Southampton.
