
Maximilian Dunker is a co-founder of Aortex, where he has served as co-founder and chief technology officer since December 2025. He is based in Germany.
Before that he was a project manager at Vibracoustic from May 2022 to December 2025. He worked at the Lehrstuhl für Thermodynamik mobiler Energiewandlungssysteme, RWTH Aachen University, as a research assistant from October 2019 to September 2021, completing his master's thesis there between April and September 2021. He studied at RWTH Aachen University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 and a Master of Science in Maschinenbau Fahrzeugtechnik und Transport in October 2021. He took his Abitur at the Altes Gymnasium Oldenburg in 2014.
