Michael Gastmans

Michael Gastmans is a co-founder of mobilar, which he set up in December 2021 and in which he is also an investor. He is based in Aartselaar. Since September 2018 he has been COO of IAS | Innovative Automotive Services, holding both roles concurrently.

Earlier in 2018 he spent several months at PwC as an HR business partner. Between May 2014 and April 2018 he worked at BMW Group, first as a future retail HR consultant, then as a retail HR and qualification consultant, retail HR manager and group HR manager. From May 2014 to December 2016 he was also a management consultant at rpc - The Retail Performance Company. He began his career as a logistics employee at IKEA Group in July 2004, a role he held until February 2013, and was a talent acquisition consultant at Toyota Motor Europe from February 2013 to May 2014, following internships at Randstad Belgium and Hudson.

He studied corporate communications at AP Hogeschool Antwerpen and industrial and organisational psychology at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
