
Michael Sluydts
Michael Sluydts is the founder of ePotentia, which he started in May 2019, and is based in Antwerp.
Before that he spent several years at Ghent University, where he held an innovation mandate from October 2016 to January 2020 and, prior to that, was a PhD fellow from October 2012 to September 2016. He had earlier founded LotD Hosting, which he ran from January 2004 to January 2016.
He studied at Ghent University throughout, completing a bachelor's degree in engineering physics between 2008 and 2011, a master's degree in the same field in 2012, and a PhD in chemistry between 2012 and 2016. He attended Koninklijk Atheneum Schoten - Schilde, first in economics and modern languages from 2001 to 2006 and then in economics and mathematics in 2006 and 2007.
