Michel Bijvoet

Michel Bijvoet is the CEO of Bivolino.com, based in Heusden, with stated expertise in e-commerce, fashion and business development. He founded Bivolino and has led the company since 1998, holding the roles of founder, owner and chief executive, and in 2012 he founded BivolinoServices, which he ran until 2024. Since 1995 he has been president of the Bijvoet & Byvoet.org Foundation.

He was a technology expert for the European Commission from 2017 to 2024, market research manager at Cross-Border Commerce Europe from 2016 to 2024, co-owner of Sihee-IT over the same period, and an e-commerce consultant to Nidaplast Environnement from 2021 to 2024. He was a visiting professor at HOGENT from 2019, and at ENSAIT : École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles and Saxion from 2022, in each case until 2024. He was vice president of Natuurpunt from 2019 to 2024, a naturalist with Naturecoach.eco from 2018 to 2025, and a board member of Regionale Landschappen from 2022 to 2025.

He studied at KU Leuven and at the University of Antwerp - Faculty of Business and Economics.
