Miguel Degeneffe

Miguel Degeneffe is a co-founder of ai-d, a company he started in May 2025. He is based in Brussels.

Before that, he spent five years at KPMG Belgium, joining in January 2020 as an advisor in risk and regulatory and remaining until May 2025.

He studied actuarial and financial engineering at KU Leuven, completing a master's degree in 2022. He had previously earned a master's degree in econometrics and operations research with a specialisation in actuarial sciences at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in 2020, following a bachelor's degree in econometrics and operations research at the same school between 2016 and 2019. During that period he spent a year studying econometrics at National Taiwan University and attended a summer programme in social data science at Københavns Universitet, the University of Copenhagen, in 2019. He completed his secondary education at KCST in 2015, in the Latijn-wetenschappen track, and also studied at the EF Executive Language Institute that year.
