
Mikaela Bruhammar
Mikaela Bruhammar is the chief executive officer of LynxCare, a role she took up in May 2025. She is based in Zürich.
Before joining LynxCare, she worked at BC Platforms, where she was chief operating officer from September 2023 to February 2024 and then interim chief executive officer from February to December 2024. She had earlier sat on the company's board between June 2021 and August 2023. From May 2019 to January 2025 she was a board member of Ziccum AB.
At IQVIA she held a succession of roles between August 2019 and August 2023, beginning as head of Nordics RWI, then EMEA practice area lead for RWS, and finally vice president for EMEA RW networks and partnerships.
She spent almost eleven years at AstraZeneca, from September 2008 to August 2019, moving from brand manager and Nordic brand manager through therapeutic area director roles to global brand director, global head of the vaccine franchise GPPS and vice president of the RIA business unit for the Nordic-Baltic region. Her career began at MSD, where she worked from 1999 to September 2008 as a sales representative, national action manager, product manager and national sales manager.
Bruhammar studied molecular biology at Linköping University, taking a Master of Science between 1996 and 1999 and a further Master of Science in 2002. She states expertise in executive management, cross-functional team leadership, business growth strategies, the pharmaceutical industry and evidence-based medicine.
