Mustafa Caliskan

Mustafa Caliskan is a co-founder of Orbion Technologies, where he has served as chief operating officer since September 2025. He is also an R&D project manager at Philips, a role he took up in August 2019 and holds until April 2026.

Before joining Philips, Caliskan was head of manufacturing at Lightyear from July 2018 to July 2019, and prior to that he spent three years at Tesla as a senior manufacturing and industrial engineer, from May 2015 to June 2018. He began his career at Ford Otosan, where he was a manufacturing process and methods engineer from June 2010 to August 2011, before moving to Karsan as a manufacturing engineer working on new product introduction projects from August 2011 to April 2015.

Caliskan studied mechanical engineering at Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2008, after completing his secondary education in science at İnegöl Turgutalp Anadolu Lisesi.
