
Nicolas Chourrout
Nicolas Chourrout is the founder of Flowful AI, which he started in March 2024, working there as an AI engineer. He is based in Brussels and states expertise in artificial intelligence, software development and engineering leadership.
He spent close to nine years at Yelp, joining as a software engineer in July 2015 and becoming an engineering manager for Core Experience in September 2017, then head of engineering for that area in 2020 and director of engineering from October 2021 until March 2024. Before Yelp he worked at blinkbox music, first as a software engineer from September 2013 and then as engineering manager of the iOS team until May 2015. From October 2011 to June 2014 he worked as an iOS developer and solopreneur under Sparkling Code, and earlier held software engineering roles at Esker and at Bull. He interned as a software engineer at Thales Belgium in 2007.
Chourrout studied computer software engineering at the Université libre de Bruxelles, graduating with a Master of Engineering in 2008, and spent 2006 to 2007 on the same subject at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
