
Nicolas Touaux is the founder of phinest and is based in Brussels. He co-founded Phinest in February 2012 and has served as a director there. He is also a sponsor and investor in Brussels Beer Project, which he joined in January 2014, in Cowboy since January 2020 and in Newtree Impact since June 2020.
Before Phinest, he was an associate director at BDO Belgium from September 2011 to January 2012, and worked as a business consultant and coach from September 2010. He taught as a professor and trainer at EM Normandie Business School between December 2009 and December 2019. From 2003 to 2010 he was at ALTEN BELGIUM, where he moved from business manager through experienced business manager and manager to senior manager. He began his career as a business consultant at AXEN (MOBISTAR) in January 2001.
He studied economics and finance at KEDGE Business School and economics and marketing at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000, completed an executive master in marketing and advertising at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in 2001 and returned there in 2016.
