Niek Bartholomeus
Niek Bartholomeus is the founder of openthebox and is based in Brussels. He founded openthebox.be, where he worked from May 2017 to December 2024.
He was a data scientist at Clarabridge from June 2017 to September 2018. Before that he worked at MeetMatch as a data engineer and data scientist from February 2016 to May 2017, and at BMC Software as a DevOps consultant from December 2013 to February 2016. He was a developer at ReQtest from April to November 2013, and earlier held a technical architect role at BNP Paribas Investment Partners from April 2007 to August 2012.
He studied physics at Ghent University in 2005 and 2006, and holds a master's degree in economics from Lessius Hogeschool, completed between 1993 and 1997.
