Niels Desot

Niels Desot is the CEO of dear-digital, based in Ghent. He co-founded the company in July 2020. In parallel he co-founded Puzzle in a bag, which he was involved with from October 2020 to December 2023, and he sat on the advisory board of BeerSelect between February 2019 and December 2021.

Before that, Desot co-founded Birdhouse Services and served as its CEO from June 2019 to June 2020, having managed Birdhouse Services at The Birdhouse from March 2018. He had earlier been a board member at Birdhouse for part of 2014. He began his career at PwC Belgium, where he worked as a junior auditor from September 2016 to March 2018.

Desot studied at Sint Aloysiuscollege and completed a Master of Science in Applied Economics: Accountancy at Ghent University between 2012 and 2016. He followed an Executive Masterclass in Corporate Finance at Vlerick Business School from November 2018 to November 2019.
