Before becoming CEO, he was Chief Strategy Officer at IBA Molecular Holding from 2003 to 2010, and prior to that served as CEO of Scanditronix Medical (2001 to 2003).

Under his leadership, IBA has strengthened its position as the global reference point for proton therapy systems and dosimetry solutions. The company serves cancer treatment centers worldwide and has expanded into carbon therapy and other advanced radiation modalities. IBA founder Yves Jongen remains connected to the company he created in 1986.
